Maybe not after the first “Hello”...but in a longer conversation you will notice a genteel accent....I was born on October 19th 1980 in Sweden. I spent my childhood growing up in Uppsala, a city about 50 miles north of Stockholm.

I have been an active athlete my entire life. During high school, I combined my studies with sports. I excelled in many athletic pursuits before determining Martial Arts as my sport of choice. At age 17, I won the Swedish Championship in Tae Kwon Do.

After high school, I got the opportunity to travel to the US with the main goals to improve my English and focus on my training. In 2000 I won the USA World Championship in Tae Kwon Do in Las Vegas.

After some time in “sunny Cali”, I travelled back to Sweden and recieved my certifications as an Fitness Instructor, Personal Trainer and Nutrition Advicer from Scandinavian Academy of Fitness Education. I continued my educaion at Uppsala University to persue a degree in Physical Therapy.

Not only did I work as a Personal Trainer along with my studies, I also took extra courses in “Sports Medicine” at a different University in Sweden and at the same time I started to prepare for my first Fitness competiton!! “I wanted to do a fitness show, just to find out what it was all about, to show on my resume that I know what I’m talking about if I, as a Personal Trainer were to help someone else,”. And it went over expectations!! At age 21, I won the Swedish Championship in Athletic Fitness in 2002. In Athletic Fitness you compete in a symmetry round, an obsicle course, pull ups and dips. After the win, I was asked to go for the try outs for the popular TV program “The Gladaitors” and within a few days, I got my new name “Blade”, as one of the new Gladiators!!

I recieved my Physical Therapy degree from Uppsala University after finishing my last internship in the beginning of 2004. I chose to do my internship through contacts with the clinic “Function First” in San Diego. At the same time I started my preparations, with guidance from Kim Oddo, with “Body By O”, for my first apparence on a Figure stage in the US...!! I won my figure division at the NPC Orange County Muscle Classic in April 2004!! About a month after I placed third in my division at the California State Championship. It doesn’t end here!!! I have lots’s of plans, goals and upcoming challenges.....

I am currently preparing for the World’s Championship representing Sweden in Spain on September 18-19th 2004...where my big time goal is to earn my IFBB Pro Figure Card.
